We collect information to provide a better experience for our community.

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and name to identify you within your Prayer Circles.

  • User-Generated Content: This includes prayer requests, "Praise Reports," and comments you post within your Circles.

  • Usage Data: We collect information on how the Service is accessed (e.g., device type, operating system) to improve app performance and stability.

3. Device Permissions (The "Digital Handshake")

To provide specific features, the App requires access to certain functions on your device:

  • Contacts (Address Book): If you choose to invite others, the App accesses your contact list locally. We do not upload or store your contacts on our servers. This data is used only to facilitate the sending of invitation SMS messages.

  • Camera: We access your camera only when you choose to scan a QR code to join a Prayer Circle.

  • Notifications: We use push notifications to alert you of new prayer requests or activity within your Circles.

4. How We Use Your Data

Allways Faithful is a platform for ministry and fellowship. We use your data to:

  • Facilitate private community interactions within your Circles.

  • Manage your account and provide customer support.

  • Note: We do not use your prayer requests or personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Invite Links & Circles

Community Invitations and "Circles"
Our App allows users to create and join private groups ("Circles") via unique invitation links. When you use an invitation link to join a Circle, the following data handling occurs:

  • Invitation Codes: Each link contains a unique, non-personal identification code. This code is used solely to associate your account with the specific Circle you have been invited to join.
  • Automatic Population: When you click an invitation link on a device with the App installed, the invitation code is automatically passed to the App to streamline the joining process.
  • Visibility within Circles: By joining a Circle, your profile information (such as your name or display name) may be visible to other members of that specific group to facilitate community interaction and prayer requests.
  • No Third-Party Tracking: Invitation links are used strictly for app functionality. We do not use these links to track your activity across third-party websites or sell your invitation data to advertisers.

6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers (Sub-processors) necessary to run the App:

  • Google Firebase: Used for secure data storage, authentication, and app hosting.

  • Service Providers: We may use third-party companies to facilitate our Service, but they only have access to your Personal Data to perform these tasks on our behalf.

7. Community Safety (Reporting & Blocking)

To ensure a supportive environment within our "Circles," we provide the following safety tools:

  • Leaving a Circle: You may leave any Circle at any time. Once you leave, your profile will no longer be visible to other members of that group.
  • Blocking Users: You have the ability to block specific members. Once blocked, that user cannot view your requests or interact with you.
  • Reporting Content: You can report inappropriate posts or profiles directly through the App. Our team reviews all reports within 24 hours to maintain community standards.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, update, or delete your information at any time.

  • Account Deletion: You may delete your account directly within the App settings or by requesting the manual deletion of your account and associated data via our website, please visit our Data Deletion Request Page.

  • Retention: Upon account deletion, your profile information and private requests are removed within 30 days. Residual copies may remain in secure backups for up to 90 days.

  • Anonymization: To maintain the integrity of community conversations, comments you made in public circles may remain visible but will be stripped of your name and identifying markers.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

10. Security

The security of Your Personal Data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption provided by Google Firebase to protect your data during transit and at rest. However, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
